This is the second and final part of our interview with Dr. Soma Ganesan, a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at UBC. You can listen to the first part of the interview on Episode 5 of Season 2.
Dr. Soma Ganesan was born in Vietnam and came to Canada as a refugee in the early 80s. He was able to overcome many obstacles to become a Psychiatrist. He is also the Founder and Director of the Cross-Cultural Clinic at VGH and a founding member of VAST (Vancouver Association for the Survivors of Torture). Listen as Dr. Soma shares his struggles, successes, and passions for helping refugees and immigrants with their mental health.
