Summer has been great for us here at Vi Can Shine! We’ve spent the last two months enjoying the sun and thinking about how to improve the show. With the above in mind and a few comments that we have received, we are going to be making these changes.

PODCAST LENGTH + SCHEDULE
Our Podcast will now be separated into two episodes rather than condensed into one long episode. We’ll release two episodes per month on the first and third Sundays of every month.  The broadcasted radio show will still be 1.5 hour long as normal.

PODCAST LANGUAGE – VIETNAMESE
Moving forward, most of our podcasts will be in Vietnamese or in English with Vietnamese translations.  Our show is broadcasted on air to the Vietnamese community in the Greater Vancouver area first and foremost. We are working with VietBC Radio and their audience consists of people who are looking for Vietnamese language content.

WHAT ABOUT YOUR ENGLISH LANGUAGE SHOW?
For most of us here at Vi Can Shine!, English is what we are more comfortable with using when it comes to expressing ourselves. We are currently looking for volunteers for our English language show. We would like to develop engaging content in English for younger generations of Canadians with a Vietnamese background. We hope to release these shows next year or possibly earlier. 

Our English language content will only be released as a podcast. Doing this will also allow us to have more free rein regarding content. 

We hope these new changes will make Vi Can Shine! better! Thank you for sticking with us and having patience as we try to find our stride again!
